I had to work saturday for an hour down in orange county so we ended up hanging out in Orange antique browsing while waiting for hubby's haircut appointment. Saw so many cool things. I really love the last picture of the indians and cowboys set. It looked like a 1950s lob cabin! I also cooked 2 great meals which I will post about sometime this week. What did you guys do this weekend?

a few photos from wren's holiday collection. My favorite is the velvet and sequins jacket! Its so pretty in person. A perfect mix of glamour and sparkly to wear over your christmas party dress. Speaking of christmas...I am really getting excited to watch all the christmas movies. My favorite is White Christmas. Looks like the colors are very similar too. Yes, I know, I am jumping the gun on the whole christmas posting already but just had to get it out of my system.

A few photos of what I've been up to. Pumpkin carving, hot toddys, bowling, a trip to oak glen and pumpkin cupcakes. mmmm. yum yum. Sorry, taking a break from fashion posting for today. Think its important to just enjoy your life and fall/ winter is my favorite time of the entire year! Time to get my coats and warm sweaters out of storage for fall outfit posts.

Sasha Pivovarova in Vogue Paris December issue. Look how cute is the photo of her playing hiding go seek? haha. This makes me wish I lived in the country side of paris. *sigh*

Funny that I came across this since I just watched Pretty in Pink this past weekend. I was watching it, thinking how hideous Molly Ringwald's prom dress was. haha. You have to admit though, back then, it was so super cool, right? I have no clue. I sorta missed out on the 80s since I had just moved to the states from Japan. Its funny hearing about other peoples experiences and memories of their childhood in the 80s.
Here is a few of Cacharel's Spring 2011 which had some pinks in it. I love the backstage photo of the girls. This pink totally reminds me of the lovely shades of pink in Marie Antoinette. And don't get me started on how much I love Sofia Coppola. *sigh*
Maybe another post on her later. hehe.

Today's outfit. I love how this Vanessa Bruno dress drapes. It so comfy, it could almost be a robe. So what's everyone gonna be for halloween? I have so many ideas but just have to make up my mind which it will be... hmm. Have you guys seen what I was last halloween? We made my costume in 10 min last year, thanks to Danny. haha

Here's a few more photos I took while at wren. I am in love with the leopard coat and am getting it soon and will have to post an outfit post with it maybe next week. But, yup, this is basically my life on tuesdays and thursdays. I caught Pepper reading her marie claire magazine. hehe. Hope everyone is having a great tuesday.

Happy Monday. Its so dreary today! I kinda love it. I made tater tot casserole and some makers mark hot toddys and watched Aristocats with my brother and our friend, Brandon.
Old disney movies are so freaking awesome! I'm spending the rest of the day at the ship studio while my brothers band records. They just wrote some awesome songs that I dig. You can check out their new song HERE. The video is random and hilarious.
Anyway, I had a great weekend with my best friend Jen. I begged her to let me style and shoot her and she reluctantly agreed. I had no idea what vibe I was going for and I don't really even know how to use this new camera too well either but I managed to get these awesome pictures of her looking so foine! I am so obsessed with the 1960s so I figured I would try to add just a tad of that to her look. So without really a plan and a few items I brought from my closet, we tried to have fun and see what we could come up with. Mind you, that I am still LEARNING how to use this camera. Very proud that I used the entire shoot using manual function only and natural light. Anyway, hope you like it.

I probably already posted about Fifi Lapin, the fashion crazed bunny. She is so adorable! I found out via Krisatomic that Fifi has a book out with illustrations and tips on what you should wear. Everything she wears is amazing. Check out more photos from the book here and visit Fifi's blog.
I know, if I was a bunny I'd totally be bffs with her!

So, until the next video, I will do regular posts. I hope you liked my video and it gave you a little insight on who I am. I love fashion but I never want to take it too seriously. I like dressing up but honestly, its about having fun and being comfortable with who you are. Can't wait for the next video!
Here's my outfit for today. Been really liking long skirts as of lately. I got my skirt from Zara a week ago and really love how it fits and flows when I walk. I think it makes me look taller so, I like that. haha.
oh, excuse my hair in the close up. Ah, who cares. We don't always have to look so "perfect", right?
Have a great Wednesday!

Here's a little introduction/promo video for the new video series I'm going to start on this blog. I recently got a new camera that I'm really excited about! Thanks to my husband for shooting and editing the video and thanks to Zac, Cayla, and Daniel for letting me use their roof. The song in the video is by Richard Swift. He's awesome. Check him out. Stay tuned for more videos and enjoy!!!

So sorry that I haven't been able to put a proper blog post up. I'm totally not being lazy. I have been so busy this week and am planning on getting a new camera that could be awesome for videos and my weekend adventures. Here is another....yes, you guessed it, Alexa Post. haha. Can't help it though. Her outfits at the european fashion week this fall have been amazingly dreamy. I can't get over these shoes. WANT WANT WANT. I am so in love with the 60s look. One of my all time favorite collections is Chloe's from Spring 2007. Do you remember this collection? Thought this collection resembled Alexa's shoes in this picture above.
What are your favorite collections of all time?
all photos from Chloe collection are from style.com & Alexa pictures from TFS
